Getting Involved
Everything that G.A.P. Ministry has been able to do at Canaan Christian Community and in Haiti has happened because people have gotten involved. God is doing great things in the world today because people pray, people go and people give.
We depend on prayer, mission teams and financial giving to do God's work here in Haiti. Not everyone can go, not everyone can give but everyone can do something. We invite you to come and be a "Partner in the Journey".
Pray
Please pray for G.A.P. Ministry and Canaan. Prayer can go when people cannot. Prayer needs no passport. 1 Kings 13:6 says "Intercede with the Lord your God and pray for me."
Go
Please consider taking a mission trip. We would love to have you come visit us at Canaan. Bring a friend, a spouse, your family or a group. We have teams coming all year long and can even coordinate your trip with someone else's. Check our current trip schedule.
Give Financially
Haiti is a very poor country and almost all changes and improvements in the lives of Haitians come from outside the country from mission and humanitarian organizations. All of the G.A.P.& Canaan Ministries depend on outside funding from churches, organizations, businesses and individuals. Martin Luther once said that " our possessions should be in our hands not our hearts".
